CCJ is always in need of volunteers to help repair homes. Our volunteers find that the gratitude of the people we help is a great reward.
If you'd like to help, please send a message to the Home Repair Director, Sharon Andersen, at directorhomerepair

Home Repair improves the quality of life for low-income homeowners in the Greater Prescott Community by providing health and safety repairs.
Why Home Repair?
CCJ is aware that significant numbers of low income homeowners live in houses that are unsafe or unhealthy; many of the owners do not have the financial means or the skills to improve the conditions, and there is a need for a volunteer service organization to help out.
How Does Home Repair Work?
Applications for repairs are accepted from social service agencies, faith based organizations and directly from qualifying home owners. After passing the initial interview and screening, applications are prioritized by need and by available resources. The repair work is then performed by volunteers, to the extent possible, or by professionals, as necessary.
Who Pays the Expenses?
Most of the labor is by volunteers. Costs of materials and contracted services are paid with funds contributed by individuals, religious organizations and grants. Businesses also contribute through discounts and gifts-in-kind.
