Giving Thanks at CCJ

This is the time of year to give thanks and CCJ has a great deal to be thankful for.

We are serving more people/ families than ever before. Now, we are facing a long cold winter with so many people coming to us for assistance, with basic human needs, due to the high unemployment rates and a struggling economy.

But we do not waver…The Greater Prescott Community will provide, as they have in the past, with donations, grants, volunteer hours, food, clothing, and supplies needed. We have loyal supporters that attend all of our Chef luncheons and Woody’s Dinner Club fundraising events.
I have said it many times…”I have lived many places on both coasts while working in human services and I have never seen the support for people in need like I have in the Greater Prescott Area”.

I know this is a beautiful place to live but I do not think that is why people move here. I truly believe it is the compassion, giving spirit and service work that is so evident in our community that make it a happier and healthier place to live and move to.

On behalf of the Board of Director’s, Staff and over 180 Volunteers working with CCJ, I wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our supporters.

Please know that you have made a difference in over 5,000 people’s lives this year.
